Abigail Harris was a Novan Starfleet Officer serving during the 24th century.

Harris was born on Terra Nova in 2344, but spent most of her childhood and teen years traveling with her parents, a pair of theater actors.

Starfleet AcademyEdit

In 2362 she enrolled in Starfleet Academy, dual majoring in Systems Engineering and Computer Sciences, though it took her an extra year to graduate due to her course load.

Sonya Gomez was her roommate for the first four years.

In 2365 her cadet cruise aboard the USS Odin involved several diplomatic missions.

She graduated and was assigned to a Starfleet Corp of Engineers mission upgrading Memory Alpha.

Starfleet OfficerEdit

After spending 6 months upgrading the computer storage and access systems at Memory Alpha, Harris was transferred to the USS Cochrane as a junior computer specialist.

In 2368 she was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade.

When Starfleet assumed operation on Terok Nor she aided the engineering teams in developing algorithms enabling Cardassian and Starfleet computer systems to "talk" to each other.

In 2370 she attended Threat Force Training on the Borg at Starbase 324.  Afterward, she spent two years at the starbase working on computer viruses designed to attack Borg infrastructure and was promoted to Lieutenant shortly after the Borg Incursion of 2372.

After attending Branch Officer Training she was assigned to the USS Odin as Chief Science Officer on stardate 49752.7, and earned her Bridge Certification shortly thereafter.

When Lieutenant Commander Haynes was promoted to First Officer, she was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and Second Officer.

After the Dominion War, she attended Starfleet Command School before being promoted to Commander and First Officer of Deep Space Nine.
