The Command Department was a Starfleet department overseen by the Executive Officer.
The Commanding Officer and Command Master Chief were part of the department, but not in any division.
Chief of the Boat is the title used when a Chief Petty Officer serves in this position.
Normally, but not always Navigation is a seperate department, even though its officers are seen as preparing for the command branch.
Auxiallry craft units and fighter squadrons call their XO Deputy Commander (DCAG), but duties normally remain the same.
