Damion Tiernan O'Rourke was a Human serving in Starfleet during the 24th and 25th centuries.
He was born on Vulcan in 2374 during the Third Battle of Vulcanis. While he was born three months earlier than the Human norm it was known that many Kelt mothers only carried their babies for five to seven months.
He spent much of his childhood aboard the USS Gorkon while his stepfather commanded the cruiser.
He lived on Deep Space Nine for eight months when he was six, due to a looming war with the Romulan Star Empire.
In 2391 he enrolled inStarfleet Academy.
He served his cadet cruise aboard the USS Sovereign.
