Geltrik Nor

Geltrik Nor was a Cardassian Nor class space station and ore processing center built-in 2348 to take advantage of a nearby asteroid field.

In preparation for the coming war with the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire, the Dominion constructed six drydock bays at the station in 2373 and significantly upgraded it on par with Deep Space Nine.  It quickly became a major resupply base for the Dominion-Cardassian Fleet.

By 2374 it was commanded by Gul Hekitat, with the Vorta Serranus as the Dominion's advisor.

Later that year Lieutenant Commander Seff O'Rourke and Major Peter Madison used a captured Cardassian freighter named Narkonna to sneak an assault force aboard the station and seize control. ("Narkonna")

Command of the station and small shipyard was turned over to the Bajoran government after the war.
