He served aboard the USS Ambassador for nine years, seven of which as Chief Engineer. In 2365 he transferred to the New London Fleet Yards as Captain of Engineering.
By 2371 he was a Captain and CO of Starbase 315.
That same year he and Captain Gedna Tachion arrested Federation Councilor Pol for treason.
