The USS Gandhi was an Ambassador class Heavy Cruiser that served in the Sixth Fleet's 101st Tactical Wing during theDominion War.

After the raid on Toros III several shuttles from the Gandhi participated in search and rescue efforts.
Ensign Istra was a junior counselor assigned to the vessel during the war.
