The USS Hoplite was a Defiant class heavy escort constructed at the New London Fleet Yards alongside the USS Lionheart.
She was launched in 2371.
She was part of the Fourth Fleet during the Dominion War.
Raitavu served as the escort's Navigation and Second Officer prior to transferring to the USS Triton as XO.
