After the call went out for all available ships to assemble at Wolf 359, the light cruiser joined eleven ship flotilla that arrived seventeen hours later. Wangeci Njeri was in command at the time.
The vessel was transferred from the Second Fleet to the Sixth Fleet's 141st Task Force in 2373, where she served in Alpha Squadron.
By 2374 the vessel's CO was Commander Tal Manan.
