Mediterranean class under fire
The USS Lalo was a Mediterranean class destroyer serving in Starfleet during the 24th century until its loss in 2366.
This particular vessel had been significantly modified by the time it was lost. While still technically a destroyer, it was reconfiugred internally to carry large amounts of secured cargo, namely weaponry and senstive materials.
