The USS Xerxes was a Merced class light escort that served in the Sixth Fleet during the Dominion War as an escort for the USS Valdemar.
In 2374 the vessel was part of a four-ship task force sent to rendezvous with the evacuation armada from Starbase 341. ("A Starbase Too Far")
